Chevrolet Points Out F-150 Weakness, Ford Is A Step Ahead

We are not sure what Chevrolet is thinking but whenever they feel like it, they would perform a marketing stunt that will involve provoking their rivals. This happened again earlier today when Chevrolet pokes fun at the latest Ford F-150.

Chevrolet dropped a tool box on the bed of the F-150 and it saw dents being developed by the supposedly weak aluminium body. Chevrolet then went on to promote that this is why they are using steel for their pickup truck’s bed.

Well, each material has its pros and cons. The F-150 aluminium bed might not be as sturdy as those on the Silverado but it will take a lot longer to rust.

Besides, Ford is already a step ahead of things as they assume that the buyers will get bed-liners the moment they purchase the F-150. This explains why there is a $300 bed-liner option offered with every pickup truck sold by Ford. Nice try Chevy!
